The Guide Outfitter Association of British Columbia (GOABC est. 1966) is a non profit association that promotes quality wilderness experiences and outdoor adventures throughout British Columbia, Yukon, and Northwest Territories that will "knock your socks off"!
Today, GOABC represents more than 200 licenced Guide Outfitters and angling guides in the Canadian Northwest. These professionals provide wilderness experiences and outdoor adventures to more than 4,500 clients annually. The Guide Outfitters industry generates approximately $120 million annually in revenue for the province of BC.
GOABC is committed to a strong and stable guide outfitter industry in British Columbia with the highest professional standards in North America. The Association is also committed to the promotion and practice of wise conservation management and use of all natural resources.
The diversity of BC’s big game species is unmatched anywhere in the world. These include 24 of the 29 North American big game species (Dall’s Sheep, Stone’s Sheep, California and Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep, Black Bear, Grizzly, Cougar, Goat, Elk, Deer, Cariboo and Moose). All our hunting is "Fair Chase" (with no high fences) to maximize the challenge and enjoyment of your outdoor adventure.

GOABC is seeking to expand it's membership in BC with an Associate level. Any person or organization engaged in the guiding and outfitting industry or supply goods and / or services thereto or otherwise directly connected with the industry may be granted an Associate Membership in the Guide Outfitters Association of British Columbia, upon acceptance by the Board of Directors.
